A Letter From Pat Villaceran,
Founder of The Greats’
I didn’t grow up with kale chips or quinoa bowls. I grew up with fried food, sugary snacks, and the kind of eating habits many of us in the Philippines inherit by default—not by choice. I loved food, but I didn’t always understand how to love myself through it.
After years of yo-yo dieting, crash cleanses, and chasing quick fixes, I realized what I truly needed wasn’t a new trend—it was a new relationship with my body, with the land, and with food.
The Greats was born from that realization. As a mother of three, I wanted to build something my children could be proud of—a legacy rooted in nourishment, sustainability, and dignity. This new relationship with my body, the land, and food inspired me to create something that wasn’t just about the size of our waistlines but the size of our impact.
Inspired by Alice Waters' slow food philosophy, The Greats honors our farmers, celebrates seasonal produce, and brings intention back to the plate. Our meals are designed not just to fuel but to heal, not just to satisfy but to ground us back to our senses—our roots.
We’re not here for a month-long fix. We’re here for a lifetime of wellness. And that means recognizing food as an act of love—not just for ourselves, but for the communities and ecosystems that feed us.
Every meal you order helps empower local Filipino farmers. Every ingredient is thoughtfully sourced. Every recipe is created to restore your body, your energy, and your peace.
This isn’t just a meal plan. It’s a movement for those who’ve tried everything and are finally ready to come home to themselves.
Welcome to The Greats’. Let’s nourish something bigger together.
